4 SHOWS PRODUCE 5 WINS AND 4 ROYAL INTERNATIONAL TICKETS

Team Wood start to the season has been amazing. The successful run began on 21st February when former CHAPS In Hand Reserve Supreme “ Sherbet Dip “ made her ridden debut and won at the CHAPS Show held at Appleton Grange Equestrian Centre.

Next show was the BSPS Area 1A Winter event held at Richmond Equestrian Centre on 22nd March and Michaela rode her HOYS runner up , the section D stallion “ Swchyrhafod Brenin” to take the open Ridden Mountain and Moorland Championship

With 4 possible RIHS tickets at stake the next weekend was going to be tougher and Team Wood’s horses and ponies did not disappoint. Michaela claimed all 4 tickets over the weekend with former HOYS winners “Palmira” and “Login Lucky Lad “ both taking first prize at the BSPA Northern Spring show held at Northallerton on the 28th March.

After a quick turnaround it was off to Myerscough College the next day for the NCPA Lancashire Spring Show where Michaela swopped “Coloureds”  for “Hunters”  and duly took the Ridden Hunter Championship for the second year running with the Lightweight “ Temple Mill “. “Finkle Street ” , Michaela’s novice Middleweight equipped himself very well and collected the 4thRIHS ticket with a 2nd in the open Middleweight Hunter.
